Circular Economy Manager for SMEs active in the Agri-food sector

Programme: KA220-VET – Cooperation partnerships in vocational education and training
Acronym: CEM4SMEs
Objective:

The CEM for SMEs project is designed, considering the Horizontal priority ” Addressing digital transformation through the development of digital readiness, resilience, and capacity”, as its main objective is the development of an innovative curriculum, employing gamification for competence development, including mobile applications for a gamified, practical experience. In addition, it is taking into consideration the VET priorities ” Adapting vocational education and training to labor market needs” and “Increasing attractiveness of VET”, since it seeks to develop new training content, materials and tools, and joint VET qualification for the professional profile of the Circular Economy Manager. The CEM for SMEs project will define the skills and competencies that the CEM should own, the training path to follow to acquire them, and will develop the related training content with a work-based learning approach. This project is also designed based on the priorities of the Erasmus+ program, as it aims to develop competencies in various sustainability relevant sectors, developing green sectorial skills strategies and methodologies, as well as future-oriented curricula that better meet the needs of individuals, in order to support awareness-raising about environmental and climate change challenges, by focusing on the value and importance of circular economy. In a circular economy, the value of products and materials is maintained for as long as possible, so when a product reaches the end of its life, it is used again to create further value.
